We currently block trunk to trunk calls, but we have doctors that would like our switchboard to take an incoming call and transfer it to the doctors home number. With trunk barring on, it is not possible. Is there a way that a patient could call in to our switch and then be transfered to the doctors home number. We are currently running a 3.0 on a CS1000M and 4.0 on a CS1000M with pri's bewteen the two switches. The switchboard is on it's own call center software called amtelco. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Trunk to Trunk Blocking Question

Transferring calls is not "trunk to trunk" transfers. If someone is actually transferring the call, if it is a diable number on the phone, it should go out.
