Trunk restriction on Option 11C

I wish to restrict trunks access to phones using NCOS settings on the phones. I have set up RLIs (LD 86) and SPNs (LD 90). The FRLs when set to match the RLI does restrict all calls and since no one could make calls, I have set FRLs to zero on all RLIs to allow everyboby to call out as a quick fix.

How can I really set the FRLs, RLIs and SPNs to actually allow users to call numbers based on NCOs restrictions on the phones. What should the TARG and FRLs on the trunk routes look like and what should the targ on the phone also look like. I have an idea and have set them up before, but the behaviour of this system leaves me confused.

1st rule of bars, drop tgar/targ.. makes it simple.. you need to add all the npa's and nxx's to 90.. prior to that add two (at least) rlb's to 86.. one for local and one for ld... some customers need more.. maybe one between those two.. local plus in state ld for instance... i try to use frl 1 for local and 3 for ld then maybe 5 for international. that leaves me a little room for the customer to insert a few curves in the game..in nctl if i make ncos 1 =to frl 1 thru 7='s7 then the rest is easy..

if i build a local rlb, entry 0 frl 1 and point it to my local route.. then i enter all the nxx's in 90 and point those to that rlb.. so now if your ncos is 1 (or above) you can dial local.. then i enter all my npa's and pont those to a rlb witha frl of 3 and point that to my ld carrier.. so now if your ncos is 3 (or above) you can dial ld.. international is easy stateside spn 01 pointed to a rlb with an frl of 5 and and ncos 5 can use it.. not add 911 1800 etc and decide which route and what frl you want.. most places use a rlb ncos 1 for 1800 and 911 service.. you could add a rlb frl 0 for just 911.. if you have a lot of phones that are ncos 0 internal only... each switch is unique and the faq's here have some code posted that may help.. if you get stuck let us know... someone here will help

Just remember whatever the FRL is on the RLI RT ENTR, the person trying to make that call must have at least that NCOS/FRL on there phone.
