Trouble with tables

Hi Guys
I have a container 750x400px below a 100%px buffer to keep it centred, in between two cells either side. All the margins are set to 0 but everytime I add more cells or content everything keeps shunting down and I end up with a much larger preview in the browser window which you have to scroll down. How can I constrain the main container?

Dear Cheech

Many thanks for your reply. I meant 100% not px (pillock!)I can't access the MX files right now but all I want is to do is display a centred home page which doesn't necessitate scrolling @ 750x400px with a 1px border from css.
