Trouble with outlook setup 1

I was trying to setup outlook and by accident I put in that there was an exchange server instead of internet mail in the beginning setup. So now it looks for the exchange server everytime I open the program. I tried to reinstall but it remembers the settings. Is there anyway to either get rid of the settings and where would they be or is there another way to go back to change the settings.
Please help!

go to contro; panel mail, look for mail.email accounts add and remove, then remove the exchange from there!!!
