Trouble joining Ex 2000 Server to an existing 5.5 Site

I am having trouble joining an Exchange 2000 Server to an existing 5.5 Site.

I have Windows 2000 running in mixed mode (PDC = 2K, 2 x NT4 BDC)
I installed the Exchange ADC onto the PDC.
I ran /ForestPrep and joined the existing site, then I ran /domainprep - no problems (AD looks fine with the new Exchange stuff)
I installed Exchange 2000 onto a new Windows 2000 Server - first i put on the Exchange ADC(which joined the domain no problem)
When I run the Exchange Server Manager on the new server, I can see the two 5.5 servers but not the 2000 server.

What am I doing wrong??
