Does anyone know where I can find a trial version of Crystal Reports?

In New Zealand you can get hold of a 30 day trial version, so check with CD or your local reseller. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear

If you have visual Basuc you have a full copy of Version 4.6 on the CD. This is an old version but will give you a taste of what CR is like.
