Trial Balance in Report Writer 1

I have created a modifed Trial Balance Detail report in the GL, now I want to do the same thing for the Trial Balance Detail by period report,since it is exactly formatted as the previous is there a way to copy the Trial Balance Detail to the existing TB by period and just name it the Trial Balance Detail by Period. Basically I want to avoid having to reformat the TB by period. The TB detail was a pain.

You could export the TB Detail to a package file. Edit the package file in notepad and change the name of it (to the exact name of the one by period), then import it in. It will not have the extra breaks, but you could manually add those in.

What do you mean by extra breaks?

Add the extra headers and footers to group by month/period.
