Treeview Flickering

I have a treeview and and listview control.

When I select an item from the treeview, the listview is updated with the corresponding items (similar to windows explorer format).

Whenever the items are updated in the listview, both the treeview and listview controls flicker. This is extremely annoying.

Does anybody know why this might be happening?

You could use Version 5 controls, as a last resort. But wait as someone might know.

check where your .refresh methods are and if they are within a loop you may want to comment those out and add it after the loop.

I don't have any .refresh methods.

Whenever I select a new item from the treeview, I clear the contents of the listview and populate it (from a database).

For some reason, the two controls flicker once, then they both appear again with the listview populated.
