Transtalk 9040 o n a Merlin Magix system some how unregisters itself and has to be re-registered. Anyone else ran across this problem? We have replaced the handset twice.

transtalk 9040 unregisters itself

When you go into register, does it show that it is still registered? The 9040 has all kinds of issues. We called and complained so often that AVAYA sent tier 4 engineers up from Jersey to try to find some of the probelms that we were having. So, if you already replaced the handset twice, try swapping out the DRM. Oh, and make sure that the DRM was manufactured in 2002. Check the S/N and the first two digits is the year manufactured. The ones made in 2000-2001 have issues.
