Transmission path methodology used with MS Exchange / SP2

Howdy,

Does anyone have a detailed diagram of the throughput path for this? I’m now under the impression that, unlike the Rim model, there is no relay exchange involved. Am I correct in assuming this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
