I downloaded about 30 files from a website into Excel, and then copied the contents into one file to work with, only to discover that the fields cannot be formatted as numbers. Going back to the website I discovered that they were created in html. An example of a number field source language for the number 209 is:

<td align=&quot;right&quot;>209&nbsp;</td>

Is there a way to translate the contents of my Excel file into values without starting over from scratch? I can't clear or reset the format as far as I can tell. Is there a way to export or use &quot;save as&quot; to make this file usable? I need to create many summaries of the data...

Thanks!

I should have done a search before posting. Thread 68-546066 provided the solution.
