Transition to LSP or Reboot??

How does one tell if a system went into LSP mode or if it actually rebooted? We are having a problem at one of our remote sites, and the logs & symptoms are a little confusing. While looking at the IP Events log on the S8300, I don't see anything about a link dropping. This would lead me to believe that the system went into LSP mode when the users stated the "phones were down." The problem is that when I look at the Platform Command log, I see a lot of RAMDISK entries and start commands... almost like a reboot. I am trying to figure out what I am troubleshooting here.

We are running CM 3.1.4 on both S8300 and S8720. Users have reported "dropped calls" when whatever happens... happens, but I have confirmed call preservation in normal transitions to and from LSP mode. I guess I am really just looking for some insight into how to read my logs. Thanks
