Is there a way to transfer to a shortcode starting with a * using VM Pro? I have a customer who wants to be able to call a DID, enter the shortcode and test it from the outside. Also, these shortcodes are either Voicemail Collects that refer to a module in VM Pro or Voicemail Nodes that go to "shortcodes" in the top section of VM Pro.

My findings...

I cannot get the transfer in VM Pro to include the * before the shortcode (*9XX and *8XX). I have been able to build a matching shortcode without the star for the Voicemail Collect shortcodes and it will work but the Voicemail Node shortcodes always drop me.

Any ideas?

you should be able to use the Assisted Tranfer action in vmpro. in the mailbox field of the assisted transfer you can put a *600, i have done this for a couple of different kinds of shortcodes.

If you what to go to another module or node in your VM programming just use the "Goto" command in VM Pro, that way you don't have to transfer out from voicemail and go in again.

I would what janni said if you want it to go to a different module or shortcode within voicemail pro. I guess I read over that part, sorry.
