I hope someone can help. I have just started using access 2003 and I have setup a simple MDB to process a sales transaction.

I have 2 forms, 1 holds customer information and the other holds transactions. I need to be able to veiw the customer information (ID, Name, Address etc) and transfer that data to the transaction form.

Tried looking on google but because I do not know what this procedure is called it makes it hard...

Take a look at the Northwind database
You may consider using the transaction form as a subform of the customer form, simply follow the wizard.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thanks for such a speedy response but because I an just learning what am I looking for in the Northwind Database that will guide me to do what I am asking ??

Ah ! !

Got this working now, have a subform on my main form however I have encountered another problem with doing it like this.

When I print this form it does not include the subform??

Is it possible to print my form and show the subform on that printout???

Print a report, not a form.

Hope This Helps, PH.
