Transferring FSMO Roles & Licensing

Hello to all!

I'm replacing a 2000 server and have the following questions:

If I demote the PC that contains the FSMO roles, does it transfer them to another DC that is on the domain?

If I demote the PC that contains the licensing for Windows 2000 and Terminal Server Licenses, do these get transferred?

Is there a way to transfer these without having to reinstall licenses?

Re the FSMO roles take a look at this thread which should help.

You would be best off manually transferring any FSMO roles onto different DCs before demoting the server.

I don't know about the licence issues.
