Hello,

I have a feature that worked in one building but not in another.

An Admin has line appearances of boss's key 0 and key 1 on her phone. When Admin does blind transfers a call to boss who is on key 0 and call hunts to key 1 and rings on both phones, Admin is able to pick up flashing line on her phone to say Boss is on the phone.

After moving to Building B Admin cannot pick up the flashing line on her phone after doing a blind transfer to boss's phones.

Any ideas on what parameter allows this?

Thanks

It has been years since I did this but I think it is in a class of service. If I am understanding you correctly I think you may need to change the CLS from POD to POA. But like I said it has been years and I rarely work on Nortel now a days. If you could post the TN print out that might help. Good Luck!

when you changed buildings, what did you change.. did you move the tn or out the phones and build new ones..

sec has a flashing line, scr key? but she can not press it and get the call? if nothing else try adding the dn to an analog port.. that makes it a party line

Below is the TNB of the reception set with 2 AOM, the names are changed to protect the innocent.

I replicated the situation with a 2616 and 2008 and it worked for me and the CLS match on all the sets (with POD)involved so this leads me to believe it has something to do with the AOM.

Bell says we are 96 patches behind so they want to update our patches before troubleshooting.

Building A was a CS1000M/81C and user moved to Building B on an Option 11C. The sets were built new on the 11C but incoming DIDs originate from the 81C via TIE line/CDP/DSC.

Too late to test now but tomorrow I will see if calls landing on the 2616 set works and calls on AOM doesn't work.

Sorry did not finish my thought .... If they are using other keys on the phone and add on modules for extensions TDD will allow tham to see who is calling on all lines ... does not answer this problem, but may be handy.

Put some exten on the 2616 set to see if they can pick up the calls after transferring. It worked and now also it works with the extensions on the AOM now. Other than creating 2 new exten on button 10 and 11 there were no changes. It seems flakey because I could swear it worked when the phones were installed. If trouble comes back I will move to new TNB to see what happens.
