Transfer on Busy

I know that you can have your calls transferred to your voicemail or elsewhere when you are on a call, but my problem is that it would either just ring and ring, or ring back to the front desk. We want it so that when you are on a call and someone calls you, it rings your line, say 4-5 times and then goes to your voicemail.

Press FEATURE 9 8 5 to get the voicemail DN

Then for what you want,
=> under TERMINALS&SETS -> CAPABILITIES -> FWD NO ANSWER fwd this to your voicemail DN, and FORWARD DELAY set to 4 - 5 rings.
... and if you turn DND ON BUSY to YES, now when you receive a second call to your phone it will flash but not ring for 4-5 rings then send caller to voicemail.


To go to voicemail directly without it ringing when you are on your phone:
=> under TERMINALS&SETS -> CAPABILITIES -> FWD ON BUSY fwd this to your voicemail DN.


For the receptionist to direct the call into your voicemail, she can dial FEATURE 9 8 6 with the customer on the line and your extension.

I am not seeing the FORWARD DELAY setting. Is that under Capabilities as well?
 
Nevermind. I think the person that put in the original request didn't quite know what she was talking about. Our systems are working as they should.
