Transfer of data from Ms word to MS excel spreadsheet

Hello there,

I'm asked to develop the automatic transfer from standardized forms (word docs) to a standardized excel spreadsheet? We have data (name, addresses, etc.) that is currently copy and pasted manual from the word documents to the excel spreadsheet.
Can this be automized somehow with VBA on MS word?

Been cruising back through posts, and noticed this had zero replies. Did you figure this one out? Because the answer to the question is absolutely yes, it can be automated.

Have you tried to play with the macrorecorders (the Excel one and the Word one) ?
