transfer does not go to voice mail

When the operator transfers a outside call to a user and the user does not answer the call comes back to the operator instead of the users voice mail. Phone is set to go to voice mail on an no answer?

Check the ring transfer count has to be set higher than fna to mailbox or set.

Make call forward no answer is for the set points to the voice mail DN. If you don't know the VM DN it can be found by dialing F985.

Also as Ironhorse said the transfer recall timer must be longer than the forward no answer delay.

where do i find the ring transfer in programming, can't seem to find it in mail or compcat ics?

Transfer call back is in system programming, feature setting.CICS.
