Sort of.... You can put extensions in calling groups 1 through 4, which are Intercom 71 through 74. You can transfer from the Auto Atendant to a calling group, either with a selector code pointed to the calling group, or by directly dialing the calling group's extension number. But, calls from the Auto Attendant to a calling group do NOT return to the Operator or a covering mailbox when unanswered, they just ring forever at the calling group.
BUT,.... If you purposly misprogram the "Transfer Return Extension" for the Voice Mail ports, to point to themselves (which is default) instead of to Ext. 10 (which is how they should be), calls to calling groups will return to the extension that transferred them (one of the voice mail ports). When the call returns, it comes without the "mode codes" that indicate why a call is ringing at the Voice Mail port. The Voice Mail will not know how to properly handle the call, announce "Transferring to Operator", and transfer the call to the Call Answer Service Operator, typically Ext. 10. Then the call will ring there and cover to that extension's voice mail box.
