Track Changes Word 2002

Hi everyone,
i have a little issue with the track changes feature in word 2002.
I have two users that when they have the track changes features on the line that normaly goes thru the word they just edited does not appear, the word changes color however the line thru the word does not appear.
I have tried turning on and off the ballons, change the style from normal to web view etc.
Does anyone have a sugestion?

From the tools menu, choose "track changes" and then "highlight changes" ...you should see an "options" button. Under options, you can choose how you want the changed words to appear.

I think those steps work for Word97. I have been looking for the answer for Word 2002 also....I will keep looking.

Ah ha...go to Normal View to view deleted text as a markup.

Unfortuntely, I have been reading from Microsoft and other sources that all say MS no longer allows us the option to change how deleted text is displayed in Print Layout View. In Word 2002, deleted text only appears in Markup Baloons for Print Layout View and strikethrough in Normal View.
