There is a number being dialed from my pbx, 703-779-2249, the only thing we know is that the person it is calling is seeing our main number as the caller id.

is there a way to trace what dn this is being dialed from.

thanks

Do you have a Call Accounting system on the PBX? If so there should be a report in there something like NUMBER CALLED.

GHTROUT can you give me a little more detail on how to make that change?

thanks

If callers in your system need to dial 9,17037792249 to reach that number, then 1703 is an "NPA"

So, in LD90

REQ CHG
CUST 0
FEAT NET
TRANS AC1
TYPE NPA
NPA 1703
RLI (enter until below)
SDRR DENY
DENY 7792249
return to end

If callers only need to dial 9,7792249 to reach that number, then 779 is an NXX.

REQ CHG
CUST 0
FEAT NET
TRANS AC1
TYPE NXX
NXX 779
RLI (enter until below)
SDRR DENY
DENY 2249
return to end
