My Toshiba 1625CDT laptop needs a new hard drive. I thought that this would be easy - I've put in many drives in desktop systems. However, I seem to be missing some trick to getting the case open.

With all the visible screws plus one under the memory cover and two under the displat latches, the case is still secured somewhere under the keyboard.

Anyone have inside information on how to open this case. I would be most appreciative of tips or references. Thanks.

Are you sure you have to pull the covers? How about hiding behind the battery?
Can't remember all the hiding places but most have gone to user accessible. Ed Fair
