Hi, everybody.

Is there a way to show just the top ten in a pie chart, grouping the others in a unique slice ?

Thank you all.

Fábio.

Hello Fabio,

This is possible by adding a new grouping variable. Create 11 new entries for this variable, 10 new entries 1 on 1 with the top ten you are envisaging. When you do this you will see that after assigning the ten the list that remains can be assigned to the 11th entry.

Procedure:

Data --> Variables. Stand on the object you want to regroup (this being a dimension usually) Click on group. Give this new variable a name. Click on new and assign name to group-level. Repeat this 10 times, assign remaining list to eleventh level. Use this new variable in the pie chart.

Of course this is part handwork, you first have to establish the top ten yourself. It won't interactively change with new data coming in. T. Blom
