tools repair file *.dbx

I'm used Outlook Express 6.0, suddenly my inbox is blank...if i'm not mistake that size 377 MB. if i search from windows explorer that file on my identities in my profiles. but if i start OE again my inbox still blank.
any body know, what happens is this..???

if i search on internet, there are tool to recover dbx, but it's not free.

anbody know, where i can download for free that software is repair my *.dbx file.

note : i'm using DBXtract, not all message can be extract (just 60 %) and file attachment can't be open.

Are you using McAfee Virus Scan? If so, what version?

Since you say the file .dbx is 377 MB..the messages are still there..Probably a virus..Do a complete scan..

another roundabout method..
First take a copy of ur emails...just to make sure ur safe..Next you can install eudora email client(

http://www.eudora.com)

and try importing the inbox.dbx into eudora.
If it imports successfully then either you can export the messages in outlook express format and import the same in your OE.

I know this is a dumb answer...but just a thought..

first i'lltry to install eudora mail...IF this option failed again maybe i want to ask U again Murugs.

maybe U have tools recover my dbx file or address that i can download.

Could you tell what error it is reporting when u import it into eudora..Do u still see a blank inbox..
