Hi all, I've a problem with an MD110 connected via Q.Sig with a BP 250. The call arrive on MD and then are redirected to the BP via q.sig.

I've notice that the phones ring only for 4 rings then the caller get disconnect. I would change this times in order to make phones ring for a long period.

But I've not idea how see this times and so how can I change it. Does someone can help me? Or I've to call my teacher imploring for tip?

Bye
Mirko

Time for 4 rings is very near to time for ALERTING message from BP. Please, try make a signal trace on both parts, incomminng and outgoing.
In incomming part should be reason, why originating exchange clear the call (in my opinion Timer 304).
In outgoing part you have to find signal ALERTING or CALL PROCEEDING.

you can change the time it will ring for on th BP system. Check the settings under trunk and extension as you'll probably need to change both
