When importing a pick list into a parameter that will be used as part of the record selection, I ran into a data base error whenever I imported more than about 25 records. I need to enter about 1000 customer account numbers, so running a report for each 25 takes a LONG time. Is there an actual limit of records/parameters enforced by the sql that results from a report, or did I do something wrong here? Or is it something else altogether?

doesn't anyone know anything about this ?

no I have never heard of this. Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office

thanks for replying, dgillz, I thought no one cared for a while there!
It happens when trying to run the report. It blows up with a dll error until you have a small number of entries in the parameter list. The default values is what I mean, the actual values for the report. More than about 25 seem to be the problem.

We also experience this problem that if you pick too many from he drop down list the report blows yup.

I dont know if this helps but I had this problem a while back and resolved it by bringing in my pick list differently.

See Crystal Kbase article c2006499 for the steps.

It worked for me.

How about a link to that article. I am not familiar with 'Crystal Kbase' articles.
Thanks so much for your reply.
