Hi,
I am setting up a query based on multiple tables but when i add all the fields that are required from all the tables and try to view the results of my query i get told that too many fields are selected!!!

Is there any way round this little problem? None of the tables contain sililar data incase that is of any relevance

Thanks a lot

Dan

Dan,

Are there correct relationships set between your tables and have you joined the tables correctly in your query.

Is the SQL statement postable?

Right i am a bit vauge on relationships and joins. The SQL is far too large to post but i am fairly confident that that isn't the problem its probably something to do with the relationship. What sort of join should i be using i want this query to check "table1" for everything in the 'transaction field' that = NBS but it also has to pull information through from 'table2' that corresponds with table1 theres a 'polnum' field thats exactly the same in each table so i can use that field to do that bit. but how should the relationship be set?

Thanks a lot!! (hope that makes sense?)
