So for some reason I can't get this to work. Probably something easy but I'm stumped. I am trying to set a HG Night Service from a prompt in the auto attendant in VM Pro. I set up option 2 to go to a generic command and that generic command to set the HG's night service. Pictures worth a thousand words. . .
Here's the setup

When I call in and press 2 it hangs up and doesn't set the night service. I'm assuming I'm missing something here.

Thanks!!

You have to use the group name and not the number.
I have spend a couple of hours on this so i know why it does not work :)

When you pay peanuts, you get monkeys!

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

I too spent a few hours on this. I had it working other ways but really wanted it to work with the generic command. I kept looking at it going, "how doesn't this work? everything is setup correct??" Except for that. Changed it, worked like a charm. I'm so happy I could hug you, peter. Instead I will give you a star. (next best thing!)

Thanks again!

Thanks, i learned the hard way just like you.
To prevent this you need to use the browse button and then select the group.
Then it will show the name.
That is how i found out.
