Hi, I have a tn2302 Prowler card that continues to fail the ping test...It is showing link status..Passes all tests except ping test. I have the gateway and the ip address administered but for some reason cannot get the darn thing to talk. Any advice would be appreciated.

Try to back out all the IP programming for the board. busy/reset/release the board or actually pull it, then reseat it.
Then add the programming back and test.
Some of these boards just lock up and the only way to fix it is to remove all associated programming and redo it.
Also make sure it has the latest version of firmware on it.
