Hi,

I am new to the Definity system and I am sure this is easy but from all my research, the 9031 should work with the TN2181. The documentation I have read the phone is administered as a 8410D. Well I pluged the phone in and set it up as I would for an 8410D, but no dial tone.

I know this is a Rookie mistake, but any Ideas?

thank you in advance.

Canier,

The 9031 (NON-DCP model) only operates on a Definity switch using a Hybrid card. If you want to connect a Transtalk to a DCP port, you will need the 9031DCP model Transtalk - than you should be good to go. If anyone has any "tricks" on how to accomplish connecting a regular 9031 to a DCP port, I would love the tip!
