We have upgraded from OTM to 3.2 and I have a few questions. Hope someone can help.
1. Is there any way use TM to batch update the switch? For example I can pull all of the data from the switch into TM and see the CPND date under Telephones in the website. I can then sync CPND with CND to populate the CND Directory. I can then export the CND directory to Excel and clean it up. I can then sync the CND with my excel doc so that CND will be proper.
At this point is there anyway to take CND data and push it to CPND so that it would recognize it as a change that I can then I could transmit to the switch?
2.Also, for us CND does not have TN data. Is that normal? I am able to sync CND with the Billing Database but if there is no TN data how does the Billing database learn what port a DN is connected to? Is that info necessary or does the Billing database only care about DN?
