I have Data for Servers showing Backup Start Time and End Time. I want to do a calculation on these to produce the length of time the backup took. If I have a backup time that is over 24hrs access (97) doesn't seem to be able to show the length correctly as a time.

Can anyone help with this please ??

I would suggest here that you have four fields.
2 fields for the date and 2 fields for the time.
This way, when you do your calculations, you can concatenate the results together to display the difference.

Dan,

Waht function are you using to calculate the (elapsed) time? DateDiff (w/ appropiate args) DOES give the correct answer for intervals.

There is never time to do it right but there is always time to do it over

Does this not just give the interval in days though?
