I am having a strange problem in Crystal 7. I am trying to change fonts in a text field in a report. I can select any font until I get to Times New Roman - I can then only select Times New Roman, Central European Version. The report was originally written in TNR Western so things don't line up properly. My default font for text fields is TNR Western. If I create a new report, I can select the Western version as long as I don't select a different version first. It seems to lock itself out of all other options in that particular font. Has anyone eles ever seen this? Thanks

Yes - I have the same problem! I'm using v7 and W2K. Its very irritating.

I have the same problem and it has to do with the default font translation setup on the machine. I found that in Windows 2000, all Western fonts were automatically changed to Central European. In Windows NT though, this didn't happen. I believe in only happens when you use text boxes, but I might be mistaken.

I ended up working only on the NT box and it doesn't happen anymore. There is a writeup about it in the crystaldecisions knowledgebase.

I'd love to know if you find another solution to this problem.
