Hi.

I am trying to put a midi file into the timeline editor. All I can find is the "DHTML Timeline Editor" . The DHTML Timeline lets me animate floating boxes and has less options than the regular Timeline editor that is shown in GoLive Help. I can't find anything that lets me open this timeline.

The help talks about both, but I just need to know how to open the regular timeline.

These are the options it has:
The Timeline Editor A. Sample editing tools B. Track list area C. Marker menu D. Time ruler E. Time cursor F. Track content area G. Mouse pointer position in track content area H. Expand/collapse tracks with samples I. Show/hide track information J. Loop K. Palindrome control L. Playback controls M. Time scale slider

Help!

Chad

Choose File<New Special>Quicktime Movie. Enter the settings and click ok. A timeline window opens and a new toolbar appears along the top of your screen. Click the "show timeline window" button on the toolbar ( on mine it's second from the left ). You can now drag midi file tracks from within the Quicktime section in the Objects palette. Hope this is what you're looking for - I haven't used it myself.
