Hi all, I upraded a SOE from 4.2.15 to 4.2.20 and since
then, time has been incorrect on all sets.
I have tried rebooting and making changes but the time
still won't update.
What else should I do?

had the same problem. i had to downgrade the system then upgrade again. the system i was having problems with had 30 port DSv2 module which for some reason did not upgrade properly (i went from 3.2 to 4.2) dont know why you could be having problems? after doing the downgrade then upgrading again, everything worked just fine.

what are you using as time server?
Voicemail Pro PC can only act as time server when either the Manager is running or the Voicemail Pro service has been started without the manager running (or time server disabled in the manager preferences)

Thats a lot of work just for time. I did the same upgrade for another SOE and didn't have any problems.

All you have to do is make sure the IP address is correct in the system and have Manager open or VM, that isn't much work really :)

I don't have voice mail, In the time server IP address,
Can I point that to the manager pc ip address?

Did you try to unplug the phones ?

Or you could make a button on one of the phones.

On the user make it a "system phone"
Telephony > Call setting > tick "system phone"

Create a button:

Label; TimeDateChange
Action; Self-Administer (under Emulation)
ActionData; 2

Thanks so much, That worked great from a display phone
and it also give you the version software thats working.

pointing to the manager PC works as long as the manager application is actually running and time server is enabled in preferences, but the self-admin button is a nice feature to have.

I did turn on time server and put in the IP address,
but when time server updates, it updates 5 hours earlier than the real time.
if the time is 6:21 pm, the system updates the phones to 1:21pm.
I'm eastern standard time and I have the time offset at
-05:00.

the time offset means time offset from the PC it gets the time from, so if your PC has teh correct time then your offset is 0
only if your time server PC is on Greenwich time your offset needs to be set.
