hi @ all,

sorry for my bad english and probably bad words for backup exec things... we´re using german backup exec...

->
we`ve updated to v10. now i catalogized all my tapes again, becouse we hab many problems with the database in v 8.6, so i decided to do this again.
problem is now, that e.g. a tape with 2 years overwrite-time is listed with 2 new years from the time i catalogized the tape. So all the medias has fault overwrite-times.
am i able to edit this time to overwrite?
what should i do to get the original overwrite-time from the medias back?

Not much you can do - BE will reset the time as soon as the tape is introduced into a new database in BE.

The only way to get it back is to get your 8.6 database back and upgrade it to version 10.

hanx anywhere
but this is no good thing. all my medias have now wrong overwrite-protection times :-(
