I have set it up the other way around, windows syncs off the linux box via ntpd. You could have them both sync off a public time server (Stratum 2) from On linux you would have to setup ntpd, see on windows it is "net time /SETSNTP:some.time.server" and if you stop the "Windows Time" service, run w32tm -v from a command prompt, you will see if it is working. Then start the Windows Time service again.

Thedaver :
I can use it well ,,
But I have realy short of time ,,
so If you can help me doing this ..
it will be great ...

Thanks again ...

By the way , I should use the Windows Time , not the Linux ..
So that I should force the Linux to take teh time from the Windows ...

The point of the earlier post is that there are public time servers out there and you're probably building a small enough network that you should go ahead and leverage those time servers as your source for every machine. They'll all stay in time sync relative to the common, external time server. That's one less service you have to manage for your network.

It's funny that you say you're in a hurry. It took a full day to get this thread fleshed out. You could have googled for it in 10 minutes or less.... Ironic.

If you can run an NTP server on the WinBlows box then there are clients for both windows and linux to synch. If there is some sort of proprietary windoze time protocol, then maybe you should write to Bill and ask if he could help you out.
