TIME PROFILE FOR INTERNAL CALLS

Hello guys

I have some request from my client, that have an IPOv2 release 8.0 (44).

The client requested that all calls (internal and external) are directed to an extension "X" after working hours.
I've created a TIME PROFILE and add the ARS of each extension, but for internal calls (extension X extension) targeting is not working.

I tried to do with a HUNT GROUP, but the customer want these calls transfered immediately when the scheduled time comes into force.

Any idea?

Can't be done, you can't redirect a call for extn like that, not without setting forward unconditional on every single extn

Create user restrictions for day/night usage.
In the night restriction table add a shortcode
SC = ?D
TN = the extension to call
Action = dial
Linegroup ID = 0

Assign the day/night restriction tables to the users with a time profile.
When in nightservice if a user tries to make a call the phone automaticly call the programmed user ( or group )

Yes I hadn't thought of that, but be aware none of those phones will be able to make emergency calls at night

note how you could apply a time profile to this, but this FAQ tells you how to turn forwarding on for everyone at once by dialing a SC (or pushing a button)...

you'd have to preset forwarding for everyone, and hopefully have the right phones that permit you to remove access to the forwarding menu, otherwise people could muck with the forwarding settings.
