Hello all, I have a problem where the time on two window 2000 machines is 3 Hours ahead of the correct time.

I change the time on the client to the correct time and the time is fine.

Once I reboot the client machine and sign on the time again is 3 Hours ahead of time. If the time is 1:30Pm the time on the Windows 2000 client machine is 4:30 after a reboot.

Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

Thanks ahead of time!!!

technome is correct. Make sure all your machines are set in the same time zone. Works every time.

Technome and Dearingkr, I am only on one server but I am thinking the server of the ISP provider is useing another server 3 hrs ahead.

Two questions:
1.) How can I check the time zone. I checked the time zones on the two client machines and they were correct.
2.) Do I use Net Time to sink the two clients with our server?
3.) Is there a way to check all servers that the two clients are connected to.

Thanks again!!!

For fear of stating the obvious...

If you right-click on the toolbar of your server and select properties you will find a checkbox to "show clock".

Once the clock is showing on the task bar, you can right click on it and adjust the date/time/time zone.
