Hi All,

In my 11C I have changed the time and date twice...

I went to LD 2

TTAD then STAD...

By the next day it seems that it goes back to April 1993..

Why is this?

Please help.

Thanks,

Snaketech~~~~~~~~

SOUNDS LIKE YOUR SWITCH IS RELOADING

Ok So what do I do next to correct this?

perry's right, the switch almost has to have a power cycle to lose the time and date.. leave procomm open with capture on over night to verify a power cycle.. that's real bad for a switch...

ace is right, the time will give you a count from midnight.. if it say 2:00, the power cycle was 2 hours ago

Ok, I can dial into the switch using procomm..

How do I set Procomm up to not log me out while my PC sits idle?

When you say power cycle may be bad for switch....

Is this a problem in the switch or possible an outside power source like UPS?

You don't need to be logged in, you just need to monitor the system.

You could go to LD 22 and AHST. this will print the info stored in the system and may tell you if the system is rebooting every night.

If a system is rebooting every night this is a serious problem.

Is very possible an outside power source like UPS !
