Question : why ?

Remark : this partition has the "Service Partition" option so it should be ok

Hi the HMC Setting:

Set Service Authority must be enabled. ( Partition Profile )

With the 4.3 version of the hmc, it is not on the partition but on the server that you do this operation.

In the properties of the server (and not of the partition) there is now a field named "Service partition" where we give the name of the partition that have the authority

With th 4.3 version of the HMC you CAN ( and should ) do it from the HMC. IBM has acknowledged a problem going from SF220_051 to anything higher than 75. I had to call support to sort this one out. I think the version of microcode you're running will keep you from doing this, even if you are on the "service partition".
