Hi,
I have a lot of complex browse commands in my application but the un-flexibility of browse makes me think of converting grid. Does anyone know of a "browse replacement" code sample that I could start with? I'm thinking of a form with a grid, row highlightning and perhaps an incremental search control. (I have read the FAQs and got some hints)

Thank you,
Micael

I really confused - a BROWSE in VFP is simply a GRID. The BROWSE command was left in for backward compatibilty, but if you add the NAME option on a Browse, you can then adddress all the OOP features.

Hi,
Yes you are right but I cannot manage such a grid in a form together with other controls. I also think "nowait" is needed in the browse command to be able to control the grid properties once the grid is created. I would also like to save size and position etc, on grid exit but I'm not sure if the unload/deactivate event is available.
