I want to configure several old computers to work as thin clients of an NT box (terminal upgraded), I need to know how to get the software on the boot rom for instant access.

The thin client that would be loaded for instant access is a bit large , the only way to do this would be to have a EPROM programming machine.
Having one of those available , then you would need to have the thin client put through a machine code generator. If you have the resources this can be a very cost effecitve way of getting the units on line , however if you do go this route; start by using EEPROMS . These are just as fast as EPROMS but can also save money while tweaking the software loads.
An alternative way would be to use batch files with 2 floppy drives to load the necessary drivers and network attachments. This is also another way to test the software loads Before loading them into an EPROM.
Good luck;
