The visual basic for applications project in the database in corrupt !

I have a database that is working OK in access 97, but when I try to move it to a different computer with access2000 and try to convert the data base, I get the error: "The visual basic for applications project in the database in corrupt OK" you click OK and then the conversion stops and no new database is created.

Does anyone know what is causing this - I have had no problem before with the same database???
