The RPC server is unavailable

I have change my server name from PIPPO1 to PIPPO2 and now, when i open MMC I get an error message:

title:internet information server

error connection to PIPPO1. The RPC server is unavailable.

However my intranet site works and on my event viewer there isn't any error message.
As anyone know how to resolve my problem ?

This is because the MMC setup is still looking at the old server name.

Make a copy of your IIS.MSC before starting this (it should be in WINNT\SYSTEM32\INETSVR)

Open MMC (click Start, Run then type MMC and click OK). Click Console, then Add/Remove Snap-in. In the Standalone tab click Add. Then select Internet Information server snap-in and OK, then do the same for the Transaction server snap-in.

Save your new MMC setup as WINNT\SYSTEM32\INETSVR\IIS.MSC
