The "Del" key in solaris

I am used to removing the last letter i have inputted with "BackSpace" key on the keyboard. But in solaris 7, I had to use "Del" key instead and it made me feel very unaccustomed.
Any way to set back to "BackSpace" ?

I think the difference is what type of terminal you are using. Different terminals are mapped to different keyboard keys for backspace/delete.
