Hi All,

We had a power outage in our office at another location and when we boot up the SQL subscriber server, it's not having a problem replicating to the Publisher in another location. We are using the PUSH subscription method. There is an agent to replicate every 20 minutes. The error is: The process could not connect to subscriber

What are the steps to resolve this?

Thanks

1.) check your event viewer for more detailed info
2.) search the internet for help on this error msg
3.) check your network connection (sound like a network issue)
4.) resynchonize the subscribers

anyhow that's what i would do

I'm pretty new to SQL replication
Where can I locate the event viewer?

Yes, its a network issue and the problem is resolved Thanks for all your help.

start > programs > administrative tools > event viewer

check the application log, filter by event source - optional

this is not just for replication, but for all windows logged events, which also include sql server and sql server agent activities
