Hi,
I have a SQL 2000 server running for our new accounting program. We use some GUI to input out data.
Now we constantly get the following errors:
Run-Time error '-2147417848 (800010108)':
automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients
I have reindexing turned on to be running once every night.
I am not a professional with SQL and just starting to learn on the fly. So I am sure itmust be a setting somewhere.
Right now we believed it was network speed but I have one of the clients connected to the same 3COM switch as the SQL Server and they both run on 100 half duplex.
The server is an IBM P4 2.0 with 512MB and software mirrored 18GB SCSI160U. Do we need more memory for 16 clients? (only 7 are currently connected but this will increase over the next month).
I have SP3 running for SQL and SP3 for windows 2000 server.
ANY clues would be greatly appreciated
Thank you,
Pim
