I have a NT 4.0 PDC running SP6a that we recently rebuilt. The server cannot see any of the BDC's or any other computer in the network, but it can ping and UNC to them. The server is not running RAS, but is running WINS and DNS. When I open server mananger and click on any of the BDC's I get a "The Network oath was not found." I have bounced, repacked, and changed everything I know to change. Suggestions are appreciated.

Sounds like a WINS issue. Is WINS running? Is there any entires in the WINS DB for those servers you can't access? Any static entries? Have you tried creating some? Have you tried getting those remote PCs to register themselves with the WINS server? [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

Yes, they are in the WINS table, I can ping them, but I was mistaken in saying that I could UNC to them. All the correct services are running. The odd thing is that the remote servers can see the PDC.
